Obtain the conceptual base of the hydrology that supports the geographycal analysis of natural processes.
Understand the processes and models of water circulation along the earthly branch of the hydrological cycle.
Know and apply methodologies and techniques for the evaluation and measurement of hydrological processes.
Identify and analyse the water ressources at Portugal and in the world.
Acquire knowledge and understanding about the processes and models of water movement along the earthly branch of the hydrological cycle whose complexity will increase, gradually, over the course.
Students should be able to understand the various hydrological processes acting on the earth's surface and subsurface.
Students should also use correctly, the language in hydrology, scientific and technical, to describe the various hydrological processes studied.
Know and apply methodologies and techniques for the assessment and measurement of hydrological processes.

According to the regulations for evaluation of the course.
The final exam consists of both theoretical and practical with weighting of 50% for each component.
Due to the basic character of the discipline this type of evaluation and work does not apply.
According to the regulations for evaluation of the course.
In general they are presented to the student the problems revealed require review and proceeds to the realization of a new final exam.
