Teaching methods and learning activities


- Lectures
- Students in research group and select international territorial foresight experiences and
present in class for the whole class
- Students in group research and explore the methods used in foresight
- In teams, students explore and experience the various steps of the Scenario Thinking Approach, including the definition of the "skeleton" of the scenarios and then the construction of the scenarios themselves, using a set of techniques (eg, dynamic systems, mash-up storyboardings, construction of narratives, and actors game analysis). Students will also explore different ways of presenting scenarios and their implications in terms of strategic options.

Calculation formula of final grade


The assessment is carried out by final exam (40%) and 3 projects (group works - 60%).

Project 1. International foresight examples (oral presentation and power point)

Project 2. Animate and synthesize one of the conference "Trends and challenges
for the future" (questions at the conference; 1 text 3páginas)

Project 3. Foresight Laboratory (participation in the sessions and a summary dossier 10 pages).
