Objectives
The curricular unit intends to provide incentive to the student to critically watch films and read works of literature, increasing their analytical capacity, providing them with those instruments necessary in order to be able to undertake a profound analysis. Simultaneously, the relations will be studied between literature and cinema through the analysis of the adaptations of literary works to the screen, by some of the most important German film directors of the 1970s.
Learning outcomes and competences
The student should become more critical, with the capacity to read literature and films and understand how literary works are adapted to the screen.
