This programme provides solid training in the fundamentals of microeconomics and macroeconomics to journalism and communication science students. Based on the fact that Economics is a way of thinking and not a series of facts that must be memorised, the aim is to develop the ability to think economically through the analysis of fundamental concepts in Economics.

Mandatory attendance of 75% of classes, unless established otherwise by general law and in the FLUP Assessment Regulations.
Best score between: a) final exam grade b) 1/6 * intermediate test + 1/6 * group work + 2/3 * final exam Students can use the continuous assessment type during the Resit period provided their name is not included in the normal exam attendance sheets.
