Objectives

Students will acquire, practise and develop the methodological skills needed to produce research work in modern history. The end result of this research will take the form of a scientific report.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Seminars will be devoted to the following activities: presentation and discussion of concepts, research methods and analysis, and debates on the problems arising from ongoing students’ research.

Practical classes will be devoted to field work, research in public and private archives, libraries, museums, documentation centres. They will also be used to tutor students in their ongoing research projects.

Mandatory 75% attendance of classes, a requirement for assessment, will be controlled by means of attendance records.

Final gradel: CF(25%)+ G (10%) + CBD (10%) + TI (15%)+TF (40%)

All students subject to special arrangements, namely working students, must comply with all assessment components.
