Objectives

To debate theoretical elements which favour the understanding of facts or processes of geographic nature;
To present and to discuss different methodologies in Geography scientific research.

Theories and spatial planning methods;
Debate about scientific literature to be chosen by the students;
Theories and methodologies in research projects: atlas, SIG, PROT's ...;

Teaching methods and learning activities

The sessions will occur in an open debate system, followed by discussion in most cases.
