Objectives

1) The students will acquire the knowledge that will allow them to read and understand written historical resources about Portugal’s History.
2) They will be able to analyze the internal and external characters of a document

3)They will also be able to scrutinize documents, searching for information in different historical resources
3) The students will be able to answers questions relating to several documents (i. e. “Who wrote it”, “when was it written?”, “where was it written?”, “Why was it written?", etc.)
4) They will be able to classify different documents (Its nature, where were they written, etc.)

3.Writting in Portugal from the IX to the XVI century:

B) Diplomatic
1. The concept and history of diplomatic
2. Writing agents: centers of production and writing professionals
3. Documents: typology, tradition and conservation.
4. Classifying writing acts
5.The structure of the writing acts. Formulas and forms.
