Objectives
- Understand and organizationally contextualize the management of an information service.
- Acquire the theoretical and methodological principles oriented to the planning, organization and evaluation of information services, independently of the information nature, the information lifecycle stadium, the production method or the medium of storage.
- Acquire the theoretical and methodological principles oriented to the study, analysis and evaluation of the processes of information services management.
- Acquire the competences and abilities to perform the technical procedures related with the organization and evaluation of information services
- Understand and apply the techniques, standards and other tools related with information services management.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Theoretical lectures with discussion and students active participation.
Research works will be presented as a written report and as an oral presentation. Visits to some institutions will also be considered.
