Objectives

- To equip the students with the basic tools that enable them to have knowledge of the major legal characteristics of Administrative Law, insofar as it affects their lives and professional activities (whether managing activities in the field of services, trade or industry).
- To provide a scientific legal perception of a vast field of intervention of Governments in Contemporary Societies and the way in which Public Authorities drive and shape the profile of these Societies and the conduct of the various elements that compose them.

Eligibility for exams

Under the Regulamento de Avaliação Aplicável aos Cursos de 1º Ciclo (Licenciatura) da FLUP, the method of evaluation includes as a prerequisite the completion of the attendance, considering that a student meets the attendance if, having been duly registered in the Discipline, does not exceed the maximum number of absences of 25% of classes provided (Art. 9). To obtain approval in the Unit curriculum, the student must obtain a minimum final grade of 10 (art. 5). All registered students, who satisfy the requirements stated in the Discipline Form, have access to the supplementary examination (Article 11).

Calculation formula of final grade

The final grade is calculated in accordance to Art. 5 of the Regulamento de Avaliação Aplicável aos Cursos de 1º Ciclo (Licenciatura) da FLUP.
