Abstract (EN): In this paper we present a new application for Carrera's unified Formulation (CUF) to analyse functionally graded plates. In this paper the authors present explicit governing equations of a sinusoidal shear deformation theory for functionally graded plates. It addresses the bending and free vibration analysis and accounts for through-the-thickness deformations. The equations of motion are interpolated by collocation with radial basis functions. Numerical examples demonstrate the efficiency of the present approach.
