Abstract (EN): This article will discuss the cartulary entitled Livro de Mumadona, belonging to the monastery of Guimarães (Portugal). Created originally in the late eleventh century, only a copy of the late thirteenth century is currently preserved. The main purpose of this article is to study the formula of corroboratio, and the different elements of which it is composed (introduction, iussio and announcement of validation), and of the private documents that were copied into this cartulary, dating between [873-910] and 1115. In order to understand the corroboratio’s originality in the documents copied in the Livro de Mumadona, it will be compared to other private acts dating from the same period which were also transcribed in cartularies produced in Portuguese territory.
