Resumo (PT): ES: La evolución de los medios de comunicación ha permitido el fácil acceso a la información que a su vez, ha generado la necesidad de crear contenidos con cierta agilidad y promover un estado de opinión constante. Dicha tendencia afecta especialmente al sector de alimentación y bebidas que se encuentra inmerso en atender exigencias de sus grupos de influencia y en especial, de un consumidor final interesado en conocer hábitos o recomendaciones alimentarias denominadas saludables. La presente investigación se centra en evaluar el rigor científico que avala las publicaciones de los periódicos digitales, El Mundo y El País, durante los meses de Febrero y Marzo 2019, en relación con la industria de alimentación y bebidas y cómo el volumen de dichas publicaciones es un indicador de la importancia que se otorga al aval científico que en todo caso, debe ser exigible en cualquier publicación con incidencia en la salud de cualquier lector y en ciertos hábitos de consumo.
Abstract (EN): The evolution of media has offered people easier access to information, which in turn has generated a need for creating flexible content and providing a platform for expressing opinions. This trend especially impacts the food and beverage sector, which feels a constant pressure to meet the requirements of their influence groups and especially of consumers, who want to be informed about so-called healthy habits and dietary recommendations. This particular investigation focuses on evaluating the scientific precision that was applied in the publications of the digital newspapers El Mundo and El País during the months of February and March of 2019 in relation with the food and beverage sector and to what extent the number of these publications is an indication of the importance that is being attached to a scientific seal of approval. This scientific approval, in any case, should be demanded in any publication which is related to the health and certain consumer habits of readers.
