Details

Summary:

Trichoderma spp. (TCD) have several applications in agriculture as biofungicides, biostimulants and soil remediators. However, the insecticidal action of TCD and derivatives has never been properly explored. Taking advantage of our experience in developing bioinsecticides and TCD derivatives, we intend to test their effectiveness against the American grapevine leafhopper, which causes great losses to winegrowers in the EU, including in Portugal.
