Personal Presentation

Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Anthropology of the same institution. Permanent professor member of the Graduate Program in Social Development (PPGDS) and professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes-MG). Coordinator of the Citadino Research Group at Unimontes. Member of the Editorial Board of the Antropologia Hoje Collection (Hucitec) and full member of the Brazilian Anthropological Association (ABA) since 2010. Served as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Social Development at Unimontes (PPGDS/Unimontes-MG) from 2022 to 2024. Responsible for supervising research at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, as well as postdoctoral projects. Member of the Project Evaluation Committee for the Applied Social Sciences field at FAPEMIG since 2025. Holder of a CNPq Research Productivity Fellowship (PQ Level 2) since 2023. Currently engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of Porto, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lígia Ferro. Areas of expertise include Urban Anthropology, Youth Anthropology, and the Anthropology of Sports.
