It should be emphasized that he is an expert in the disciplines of applied climatology, meteorology and data science with advanced techniques of geographic information systems, statistics and use of the R environment. The main lines of research are, on the one hand, biometeorology and geographies of health, the relationship between human health and the atmospheric environment, and on the other hand, applied physical geography with a focus on atmospheric variables and their spatio-temporal and geographic behaviors. However, Dominic Royé also worked in the private sector for SICE (Sociedad Ibérica Construcciones Eléctricas S.A.) as geoanalyst and expert in applied meteorology within projects of the DGT (General Direction of Traffic) Northwest.
