The Placement Test takes place online through the U.Porto Moodle platform.


Applicants who have no knowledge of the language can apply directly to the "A1.1" level.
Those students whose native language is Spanish, Italian or Romanian, can apply for the level "A1.2".

For the summer courses, candidates who have no knowledge of the language, regardless of their nationality, can apply directly for the "A1" level.

Information

Application:

• for the 1st semester courses: from 26^th August to 5^th September, 2024
• for the 2^nd semester courses: from 19^th December, 2024 to 27^th January, 2025
• for the Summer courses: from 6^th March to 30^th May, 2025

Test: 

• for the 1^st semester courses: from 29^th August to 8^th September, 2024
• for the 2^nd semester courses: from 13^th to 30^th January, 2025
• for the Summer courses (2025): from 28^th April to 3^rd June,2025

Fee (to be paid before the test): 30¤ (non-refundable and non-transferable)

The current placement test is only available for the Summer courses (2025) 2024/25.
