Bachelor in Philosophy

The 1st cycle in Philosophy seeks a conceptual, logical and argumentative analysis of the contemporary and historic thought productions. Hence the course’s focus in:

  • The study of Philosophy History and Contemporary Philosophy and related areas;
  • The study of problems and texts which make the contemporary philosophy’s tradition possible;
  • “The course has an interconnected and double goal: informative and of critical reflection.
  • Thus, the degree in Philosophy trains and deepens logical and argumentative competences, as well as the knowledge about the history of ideas (in a broad spectrum, which includes logical and epistemological, ethical and political, aesthetical and metaphysical aspects).
