3rd Cycle of Studies in Literary, Cultural and Interartistic Studies (DELCI)
2025/26 - Admission - Doctoral Programme - 3rd Phase

To apply, applicants must be: 1) Holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent in the scientific areas of Literature and Culture; Textual Criticism, Comparative Studies; Feminist Studies; Utopian Studies; Literary Theory and Aesthetics; Literary Translation and Creative Writing or Theater Studies. 2) Holders of a foreign higher education degree in Literature and Culture; Textual Criticism, Comparative Studies; Feminist Studies; Utopian Studies; Literary Theory and Aesthetics; Literary Translation and Creative Writing or Theater Studies awarded following the completion of a 2nd cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a Country participating in the Bologna process; 3) Holders of a foreign higher education degree in Literature and Culture; Textual Criticism, Comparative Studies; Feminist Studies; Utopian Studies; Literary Theory and Aesthetics; Literary Translation and Creative Writing or Theater Studies that is recognized by the Academic Institution’s statutorily competent scientific body as meeting the objectives of the master's degree. Applicants who do not meet the conditions mentioned in the preceding paragraphs, but have an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that proves appropriate preparation for the doctoral degree, may also be admitted, upon proposal from the Scientific Committee of this cycle of studies, as foreseen in point c, of n. 1, article 30 of paragraph 2 of Decree-law n. 74/2006, in the provisions of Decree-law n. 115/2013, of 7 August, and in the University of Porto’s Regulations for the 3rd cycle of studies.
