Objectives
The students are given a thorough knowledge of the life, circumstances of scientific production and the work of a dozen great Portuguese and foreign medievalists. There is also recent information on how researchers areworking in five domains of history (medieval and not only), in Portugal and abroad. They obtain the corresponding bibliographic preparation.
Learning outcomes and competences
1. Familiarity with the main names and titles of Portuguese and foreign mediaeval research.
2. Perception of scientific paths made, difficulties overcome and new proposals in various fields of research.
3. Good bibliographic update.
