Theoretical-practical classes:lectures and discussion of some topics. Tutorials: Class reflection and discussion of individual research projects. Oral presentation of projects and intermediate stages of work. PL: Working in libraries and archives: practical exercises on bibliographic and documentary research focusing on several typologies of documentary institutions.

Students are required to attend at least 75% of all teaching/learning modalities. Students who, due to special circumstances (which are always to be communicated to uc teachers), can not participate in 75% of the sessions, should combine, in a timely manner, ways of substituting oral participations for written participation.
The final mark is calculated by the weighted average of the mark obtained in the paper, student participation in OT and TP sessions and the outcome of the exercises carried out in PL sessions, according to the following formula: TOTAL= 60% T1 + 40%EX
T1critical analysis of a monograph of local and regional character, or thematic nature: to analyze and criticize the search paths of information, the sources used, and their use and methodological treatment.
EX: some exercises to be done in the sessions applied to information research that will be used in the individual project to carry on in the master
