Objectives

This seminar aims at promoting the students’ reflection on central issues of literary theory and criticism, mainly from the second half of 20 th century onwards, bearing in mind its articulation with questions raised by literary translation.
Students should obtain competence in the critical an d analytical reading of studied texts, the results expected being the students' development of their critical and reflexive skills, according to the desired principles of ideological debate thoroughly articulated with central issues of contemporary theoretical and critical thought.
