As part of the research project “Organization of working time: The four-day week”, IS-UP organizes and hosts an international meeting entitled “The 4-Day Week”, in collaboration with researchers responsible for the pilot implementation project of the four-day week in Portugal and with the non-profit organization 4 Day Week Global. It will be on the 27th and 28th of June, at the Rectory of the University of Porto.
The
PROGRAMA // PROGRAMME includes the presentation of the Final Report of the Four-Day Week Pilot Project in Portugal by the project coordinators - Pedro Gomes and Rita Fontinha, as well as the participation of representatives from several Portuguese companies. The Meeting will be attended by Rosário Palma Ramalho, Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, and Adriano Rafael Moreira, Secretary of State for Labor. In addition, it will feature interventions by Gabriela Brasil and Miguel Fontes; a panel to discuss the future of the four-day week, composed of Ricardo Costa, Henrique Sousa, and Pedro Martins; and also presentations by master's students who are developing dissertations on the topic.
