Among other goals, we seek the trust of employers as for diplomas and competences of our graduates. The degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures has been conceived with the purpose of a broad teaching of languages, cultures and literatures, as well as of subjects which problematize linguistic and literary phenomena, allowing a subsequent application to the teaching of languages and intercultural relations.
Its curricular structure also contemplates a linguistic and literary theoretical reflection and pays attention to the intersection of knowledge in the perspective of mentalities and cultural sensitivities.
The graduate in LLC may apply to the following Master’s degrees:
Education in Teaching will allow to teach Portuguese and Foreign Languages at the basic and secondary education, as well as teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language abroad.
NOTE: Students who seek to attend this degree in Portuguese and Foreign Language variant or in English monodisciplinary variant with another foreign language component shall be capable, in the 1st year, to sign up for French B1.1 and German A2.1.
