The University of Porto has provided for all the faculties including the Faculty of Pharmacy an Information System called: “SIGARRA” which is available at: https://sigarra.up.pt/ffup/pt/web_page.inicial
On this website students can: find information about the FFUP, including schedules, summaries, classes and records of the courses; make enrolments, view their personal file as well as the results of exams of the Course Units.
The UP also provides to all the academic community the e-learning platform Moodle, available at the website: http://moodle.up.pt/. On this platform Lectures provide support material for classes (texts, exercises, etc.) to all students enrolled in their course unit. To access this platform students, have to log-on with a personal username and password on SIGARRA.
The FFUP also provides internal access to several information technology (IT) resources:
Remote access to scientific Journals and online libraries signed by the Faculty (VPN), computers, e-mail, wireless and remote access to documents through Office 365 (http://up.pt/updigital/office365) and through Google for Education (https://www.google.com/edu/).
The academic community have at their disposal computers that are located in the Building 3 - Level 1, namely in classrooms, in the students’ living room (02.P1.E3) and in the Library. These computers are both used as working material and studying material.
The EDUROAM network is the wireless network available in FFUP.
This European network provides access to Internet on the campus of FFUP, in student residences and other Portuguese and foreign universities.
The institutional e-mail can be checked on the website: http://webmail.ff.up.pt. It´s advisable that students check their mail regularly since this is the most common way of communication between the Faculty Administration, Services and students. In all communications with Lectures and services FFUP students should always use their institutional email, and sign the messages with their name and surname.
Users have at their disposal different ways to request for IT support:
