- Present position: Post Doctoral Researcher - FCT CEEC-IND.

- Academic Degrees:  M.Sc. Civil Engineering (2009), Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (2018), at FEUP, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal.

- Education: Invited Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo - School of Technology and Management (IPVC - ESTG) 2010 to 2013: Degree in Civil Engineering and the Environment: "Building Physics" and "Building Integrated Project". Specialization Course in Construction Technology and Public Works: "Technical Drawing for Construction".
Invited Professor at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal, 2022 to present: Master in Civil Engineering: "Building Services". Master in Integrated Building Design and Construction: "Building Services".

- Cientific Publications: 1 international book, 1 national book, 2 international book chapters, 21 papers published in international ISI journals all in Q1, 2 papers published in national refereed journals and more than 20 papers published in international and national conferences.

- Other Scientific Activities: Co-organizer of 2 editions of the Conference on Building Pathology and Rehabilitation – PATORREB (2015 and 2023), co-organizer of the 12^th International Conference on Building Materials and Components (XII DBMC) and member of the scientific committee of DCE 19, DCE 21 and DCE 23. Member of the editorial board of four International Journals and a frequent reviewer for Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer and MDPI (more than 70 reviews completed).

- Awards: “Prof. Doutor Joaquim Sarmento” to the best Ph.D. thesis in Civil Engineering at UPORTO, of the year 2018.
