Teaching methods and learning activities

The course is structured in two complementary modules: a theoretical module and a practical module.

The theoretical module introduces core concepts and debates in photography and cinema, focusing on the relationships between images. Students participate in the presentation, analysis, and critical discussion of projects, with attention to developing a visual repertoire through technological procedures related to the preparation, formatting, and production of visual narratives.

The practical module reinforces these concepts through hands-on application. Over the course of the semester, students complete two projects: the first focusing on the still image and the second on the moving image. These projects enhance technical skills and conceptual understanding, promoting the integration of research-based inquiry and creative experimentation.
