Objectives

Study of different models of representation of 3D objects, and the basic techniques of processing, extraction of features, and detection and / or recognition of objects 3D structures.

Learning outcomes and competences

The student will be able to choose the model of representation and the most appropriate techniques for specific applications.
Capacity for critical analysis and rigorous evaluation of technologies and methodology. Ability to work in team, organization and planning.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Participatory lectures, practical classes and in computer room s, conferences, learning based on the resolution of practical cases, use of the virtual classroom, autonomous work and independent study of students, group work and collaborative learning, preparation and presentation of work course. The annual teaching guide of the subject will include the details on the learning methodology. The evaluation will be supported in the projects developed during the trimester.
