Objectives

Researchers are increasingly faced with the need to publish their research papers either to impart knowledge or for the purpose of academic career. This course aims to facilitate this task through a more thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the various components associated with publishing and scientific writing, which are described in the course syllabus.

Learning outcomes and competences

With knowledge of the issues related to publishing, the type of journal, in which databases the paper is included, the impact of the journal , the basic steps of writing a scientific article , the proper search of articles already published in databases, and the ethical issues of plagiarism , it is expected that people who attend this course can publish articles with more success through a more systematic writing and more appropriate choice of the journal in terms of content and impact in the scientific community . Apart from writing and choosing the journal.
