Objectives

The course is mandatory and all students may have seminars in all schools involved in the thematic program in
particular where their scientific competence stands out. This will enable them to not only meet professors from various institutions involved in the area of Science and Engineering of Materials, as well as contact with analytical techniques and methodologies. If this experience is enriching in all scientific areas, is no doubt essential in materials, in particular for those who want to carry out research leading to a Ph.D.

Learning outcomes and competences

Specific seminars (taught by experts in the area) will help  students to understand in which situations/contexts future professionals in the areas involved in the course can develop activities and contribute to the advancement of areas where advanced materials and technologies are key factors.

After an annual call to the different institution involved in the Program for the possible theme for
seminars, the coordinator will establish the Program and schedule of the Seminars for the edition of Doctoral
Program.

Seminar presentation: 90 min. modules; experimental demonstration action = 90 min.
Elaboration of a monograph about a seminar selected by the student.
