Fundamental concepts of sustainability: the principles; the definitions; the dates; the Sustainable Development Goals; the specific aspects of sustainability applied to construction. Sustainability assessment methods. The challenges of sustainability. Applications of concepts to specific themes within the scope of the future PhD work of the students.


DEMONSTRATION OF THE CONTENTS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES:

The application of the various concepts and methods for the assessment of construction sustainability allows the achievement of the defined objectives.
