Objectives
It is expected that the students sucessfully completing this subject should be able to:
LO1. Know the main techniques of study, of problem solving and decision making;
LO2. Know the requirements for teamwork;
LO3. Acquire skills related to organizational and performance development, writing techniques, communication and
presentation;
LO4. Acquire basic knowledge in entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Learning outcomes and competences
In this unit course unit, it is expected that students acquire, in a preliminary stage of their academic path, a set of
transversal skills useful for their performance in activities as students and later in professional development, as well
as their familiarization with concepts related with personal development, entrepreneurship, sustainability and research
in Chemical Engineering. The course unit is organized and guides the students for acquiring such knowledge through
seminars, with personalities to invite.
