The nature of the discipline, its operation and the mode of assessment adopted mean that no special type of assessment will take place.
Classification improvement
It follows from the objectives of the course that it is continued in the Dissertation, so an improvement in classification may be impracticable, particularly in the case that the Dissertation has started in the meantime. If, for any reason, the Dissertation has not started or has been interrupted, a new enrollment in the class to improve the classification may imply the definition of a new theme and work plan.
Observations
The Dissertation Preparation and Dissertation subjects should preferably take place in consecutive semesters to ensure that the corresponding work is carried out without prolonged interruption.
The accomplishment of the Dissertation is not compatible with the frequency (and exams) of other subjects, but may take place in any of the semesters.
For this reason, attention is drawn to the following procedure which allows the semester in which the dissertation is held to be relaxed:
- Students who are able to do the Dissertation in the 2nd semester of 2020/21 must apply and prepare the Dissertation Preparation in the 1st semester;
- Students who are only able to do the Dissertation in the 1st semester of 2020/21 should also enroll in the Dissertation Preparation subject in the 1st semester of 2020/21, apply for the proposed subjects and attend the respective Seminars occur only in the 1st semester; however, the dissertation preparation work corresponding to the assigned theme will be carried out during the second semester of 2020/21. These students will be required to submit a Progress Report by April 30, 2020 and the Final Report by July 2, 2021.
Students enrolled in IDPs who are in ERASMUS mobility or equivalent must perform the work provided in this course remotely and submit their reports within the deadlines. In special cases of difficulty of interaction, they may propose at least 30 days in advance of the defined deadlines, and accompanied by the corresponding justification, new deadlines later than the previously defined, which, once accepted, become applicable. for all intents and purposes.
