Objectives

Provide the students with advanced knowledge in interaction techniques, namely in environments of virtual and augmented reality.

Learning outcomes and competences

At the end of the course, students should be able to:
-distinguish the various types of usable interaction on a particular type of application;
-to know the State of the art in terms of interaction, with special emphasis on visual simulation systems

Working method

Presencial

Program

Concepts of Computer Graphics. Advanced interaction techniques based on image. New paradigms of interaction incorporating multimodal techniques and tangible interfaces.

Mandatory literature

James D. Foley... [et al.]; Introduction to computer graphics. ISBN: 0-201-60921-5
Artigos científicos vários

Teaching methods and learning activities

For small groups of students, works will be defined to search for information in scientific papers, on the subjects of the curricular unit. The classes will be, in part, not presencial, and will be dedicated to the analysis of results and planning of next steps.
