Prepare students to understand the role of Information Systems (IS) in organizations and the importance of these are aligned with the strategy and business organizations. To prepare students to develop information systems using Web-based PHP, XHTML and CSS along with relational databases.
By the end of the course, students should be able to analyze and develop small / medium sized web based information systems organized in 3 layers (data, logic and presentation) and including relational databases, server-side programming in php, client side programming in javascript / jquery, and webservices.
