Objectives

Acquire knowledge of control  and condition monitoring techniques for static and dynamic equipment.

Learning outcomes and competences

 


Being able to identify the best techniques for monitoring of industrial equipment.

Ability to organize a program of monitoring of industrial equipment, identifying the most appropriate techniques and levels of alert and alarm.

Working method

Presencial

Pre-requirements (prior knowledge) and co-requirements (common knowledge)

Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment. Vibrations. Tribology.

Program

The inspection of static equipment: non-destructive testing; endoscopy, ultrasound.

The analysis of dynamic equipment: analysis of lubricants: chemistry and physics; vibration analysis, thermography.

The definition of parameters of alert and alarm.

Realization of laboratory applied work.
