DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES:
The syllabus intends to complete a specific training in the scientific area corresponding of the specialization and to present the latest developments. From a set of proposed work plans, which reflect the FEUP capabilities in this area, the work plan for each student will meet his profile and the resources availability, being proposed by the Supervisor and approved by the Director of the study cycle after consulting the Scientific Committee. Student supervision is provided by the supervisor who is responsible for monitor his progress and guide him. The result of the work done by each student is presented as a report with the first draft of the thesis and will be discussed in a public examination by a jury. If he is approved the student will sent the final version of the thesis immediately after the public discussion, taking into account the corrections specified by the jury.
