Objectives
- BACKGROUND - Students are expected to use knowledge already obtained in other courses
- SPECIFIC AIMS - The objective of this course is to give knowledge relevant for machine design, through the analysis of design problems and of some machine elements frequently used.
- PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE - Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Structures and Materials
- PERCENTUAL DISTRIBUTION - 50% theoretical lectures, 50% practical exercises by the students
- LEARNING OUTCOMES - to design machine elements
