Objectives

- To develop different skills: research, selection and classification of relevant information about a specific subject in the domain of occupational safety and hygiene;
- To know the techniques and methods of technological and scientific research in the domain of occupational safety and hygiene;
- To design and execute projects and assignments of technical and/or scientific information diffusion.

Program

- Research, selection and classification of information techniques;
- Project methods and techniques: Motives; Definition of aims and goals; Support theory; Associates techniques; Design and execution.
- Discussion of Masters subject matters. Help writing individual reports: State of the art reports. Thesis project, project planning or internship planning. Individual presentation and discussion of the work developed.

- Besides the above mentioned subjects, students who decide to take a vocational training certificate in occupational safety and hygiene have to carry out an individual project of 120 hours in a real working context, according to the rules.

Evaluation Type

Distributed evaluation without final exam

Observations

The assessment is based on the presentation of the project before a specially selected jury.
