Calculation formula of final grade
At the end of the course each student will be assessed through a report of activities, which should correspond to 6 ECTS or 160 hours of work.
The final grade will take into account:
i) the student's performance in MESG at the date of submission of the report, as measured by average grade in SiFEUP,
ii) the evaluation of the supervisor of the thesis (if already defined),
iii) the grade of the working report.
In case of a positive evaluation of the report, and if the student already has an advisor, the classification will be calculated as follows:
i) 25%
ii) 25%
iii) 50%
In case of a positive evaluation of the report, and if the student does not have an advisor, the classification will be calculated as follows:
i) 50%
iii) 50%
In case of a negative report evaluation, the classification will be calculated as follows:
iii) 100%
