Objectives

Beginning of the final dissertation project:

1 - Projet selection, identification of external supporting organization (opcional) and internal advisor.

2 - Learning to use relevant data analysis tools in particular SPSS and NVivo.

3 - Presentation to colleagues of selected project.

Program

Each studant wil have an individual project.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Each studant will define with its advisor the method to be followed.

Distributed evaluation without final exam

Calculation formula of final grade

Method to be defined by the student and advisor.

Students that have started a project may have the same grade in this course as the final dissertation grade.

Alternatively the final grade will be given based on an internal committee analysis of work produced in this course.

Classification improvement

The student may improve the classification after a related work having as co-author the advisor appointed by FEUP is published in the proceedings of a conference or a journal previously accpeted by the lecturer of this course.
