Calculation formula of final grade
Evaluation is in a scale of 0-20.
Final individual written exam (FIWE), lasting a maximum of 3 hours with 3 parts:
Part 1: Theoretical part, closed book and no calculator usage;
Part 2: Problem solving part, open book (one document) and calculator usage;
Part 3: Problem solving part, open book (one document) executed with the aid of a computer.
FINAL MARK = 0,35*P1+0,35*P2+0,3*P3
Examinations or Special Assignments
Not applicable
Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)
Individual written exam similar in structure but with adapted subjects, as FIWE.
Classification improvement
Individual written exam similar in structure but with adapted subjects, as FIWE.
Observations
There is no course precedence. Solid know-how in mathematics, informatics, transport phenomena and reaction engineering is assumed
