Objectives
To allow the students the possibility of study techniques for control of dynamic processes and automation systems using industrial equipments (PLCs, PIDs, remote data acquisition systems,...). New matters will be approached in the field of the identification of dynamic systems.
Program
Industrial PIDs configuration. Different types of inputs and outputs Alarms configuration. Auto-Tunig. -Development of applications in alternative programming languages to SCADA for acquisition and control with data bases registering.
-Development of small applications with serial or Ethernet communication with the referred equipments.
Excitement-signals used for identification of dynamic models.
Discrete models of dynamic systems.
RLS and Instrumental Variables algorithms. Recursive versions.
Teaching methods and learning activities
Theoretical classes - exhibition and explanation of the concepts
Practical classes - application of the concepts in a real practical example
