Objectives
To provide a supplementary instruction in domains of Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering and other technical and profesional domains, in order to prepare future chemical engineers for working in firms which produce, process and/or market polymers.
Program
Structure of polymers. Molecular mass. Volumetric and thermodynamic properties. Mass and heat transport in polymers.
Polymer rheology: Dynamics of non-newtonian fluids.-Polymeric fluid phenomena-Material functions of polymeric fluids-Generalized model of newtonian fluids.
