Objectives

To sensitize the students for the importance of the increase of the competitiveness of the textile sector giving special evidence to the concern and implementation of techniques that allow to dye to the first, maintaining high quality patterns and one controls rigorous of involved costs.
To deepen concepts related with the dyeing technology, in its varied slopes.

Program

Introduction of dyeing sector in the textile row.
Basic concepts about the colour and its importance for the textile processing.
Classification of the dyestuff and its relation with the textile fibers.
Study of the main properties of fasteness and its relation with dyestuff and used fibers.
Study of the general theory of the dyeing.
Study of the direct, vat, reactive, sulphureous, dispersed, acid and cationic dyestuff.
Study of the dyeing processes of celullosic, polyester, polyamide, acrilic, wool fibers and the mixtures of polyester with celullosic.
Environmental problems related to the dyeing process.

Works:
Exhaust dyeing of cotton with direct dyestuff.
Exhaust dyeing of cotton with vat dyestuff.
Exhaust dyeing of cotton with reactive dyestuff.
Pad batch dyeing of cotton with reactive dyestuff.
Pad-thermofixation of cotton with reactivos corantes. Exhaust dyeing of cotton with sulphureous dyestuff.
Exhaust dyeing of polyester with dispersed dyestuff.
Pad-thermosol dyeing of polyester with dispersed dyestuff. Exhaust dyeing of poliamida with acid dyestuff.
Exhaust dyeing of acrylic with cationic dyestuff.
Exhaust dyeing of mixtures of polyester/cotton with dispersed and vat dyestuff or with dispersed and reactive dyestuff.
