Teaching methods and learning activities

The course work has a very strong applied nature and will be conducted in a Unit Operations lab in two distinct projects:
1. Communication with analytical instruments through a serial interface (RS-232)
2. Process monitoring and control using analog/digital data acquisition systems

The projects will be carried out by teams of two students.

Software

LabView graphic environment

Evaluation Type

Distributed evaluation without final exam

Examinations or Special Assignments

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Due to the essentially experimental nature of the course, a single written exam is not possible; a practical experimental session and an oral exam are required.
