Abstract (EN):
The legislation of fire safety in buildings is also applied after construction when the buildings and enclosures are in service. Authorities necessarily have to do a check of effective law enforcement that passes the verification of the implementation of the measures of self-protection. There is therefore the need to implement measures designed to self-protection and the management of fire safety in buildings during operation or use and include: a) preventive measures, b) intervention measures; c) Registration of security; d) Training in Fire safety in buildings. The main objective of this paper is provide and present a tool which facilitate the verification of implementation of self-protection measures in a point of view of a city or country. Not only the self-protection measures should be implemented more widely, as well as its control through mandatory inspections. The developed model allows to verify their effective implementation. The FIREcheck model may also manage the progress of inspections in a city or country. Local or national authorities may take tools like this to set the future strategy on the priority of fire safety control the built heritage.
