Abstract (EN):
The post-tectonic Lavadores-Madalena granite massif occurs in key sector for understanding the geodynamic variscan evolution of Porto-Tomar Shear Zone. Mapping, structural and magnetic fabric data indicate that this massif presents a magmatic flow conditioned by shear deformation. The geometry of the massif and its magnetic foliation fabric are consistent with the C-S geometry of the host rocks. In the studied area, the convergence of NNW-SSE to NS and WNW-ESE to NW-SE structures is materialized. Those convergences of structures have enhanced the root location of the Lavadores-Madalena massif. Studies of Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility and Isothermal Remnant Magnetization of Lavadores- Madalena granite allowed considering it as a "magnetite-type. © 2014 LNEG ¿ Laboratório Nacional de Geologia e Energia IP.
