Project n.B: 46112 - BIOma - aims to investigate and develop disruptive solutions capable of effectively responding to needs in the topics of sustainability, food waste, waste recovery and traceability from primary exploration to the final consumer. The project intends, therefore, to develop technological and biotechnological solutions to enhance the bioeconomy, the digitization of the industry and the reduction of food waste, meeting the European strategies in the scope of these themes.
Project n.B: 46112 - BIOma - aims to investigate and develop disruptive solutions capable of effectively responding to todays's in the topics of sustainability, food waste, waste recovery and traceability from primary exploration to the final consumer. The project intends to develop technological and biotechnological solutions to enhance bioeconomy, industry digitization and reduction of food waste, meeting the European strategies in the scope of these themes. The definition of assessment methodology for Sustainability adapted to the Portuguese reality will allow to characterize the state of the agri-food sector in Portugal and to take decisions in the dimensions of Sustainability: Economic, Environmental and Social in an assertive and effective way. The information collected in ths methodology will make it possible to act on the pillars of Bioeconomy, combating food waste and valuing waste. The entire agri-food value chain will be tracked, supported by a digital platform, thus ensuring food safety and providing reliable information to all stakeholders in the chain, including the consumer, so that they can make their choices and make their decisions. assertively and with the guarantee of reliability and authenticity of the data. |
