Summary: The InSpeCt project aims to exploit the potentialities of tailor-made smart design of carbon materials with different dimensionalities (1D, 2D, 3D) in order to develop: (i) an analytical tool for analysis of water organic micropollutants listed in EU-Directive 2013/39 and EU-Decision 2015/495; and (ii) a membrane to eliminate both chemical and
biological contaminants. The methodology is projected to tell us how to perform the very fine tuning of these carbon materials by using advanced characterization techniques.
