Registration for special examination period for completion of the cycle of studies

Registration period: From January 30th to February 17th 2024

 

The special examination period for completion of the cycles of studies is available for transition students of First degrees and/or Master’s degrees that can complete the cycle of studies in the 1^st semester (*) by approval of the maximum of legally allowed ECTS credits, provided the following conditions are all fulfilled:

1. i) students are registered in those curricular units in the corresponding academic year;
2. ii) students must have fulfilled class attendance requirements, defined in the programme of each curricular unit;
3. iii) students must have already attended the Dissertation curricular unit and submitted a provisional version of that document (applicable for Masters only)
4. iv) students shouldn’t have more than 21 ECTS credits or 2 curricular units left to complete the cycle of studies, whichever is more favourable for the student. 

(*) The 1^st call of the special examination period for completion of the cycle of studies (March) will be available to transition students: 

- who have completed the Master’s degree and don’t have more than 21 ECTS credits left to complete the 1^st Degree;

- who have completed the 1^st Degree and don’t have more than 21 ECTS credits left to complete the Master’s Degree;

- who don’t have more than 21 ECTS credits left to complete both the Master’s Degree and the 1^st Degree;

- who don’t have more than 21 ECTS credits left to complete the 1^st Degree and fulfil the following conditions for accessing the special examination period for completion of the cycle of studies:

1. for 1^st semester course units, students must have attendance in those course units in the current academic year;
2. for 2^nd semester course units, students must have attendance in those course units in the previous academic year.

Students who fulfil the conditions to access the 1^st call of the special period for completion of the cycle of studies (March), may distribute the corresponding examinations between the 1^st call (March) and the 2^nd call (September). However, they cannot use the 2^nd call to repeat the examinations for which they have not obtained approval in the 1^st call.

After submitting each form, the following message will be displayed:

“The registration in the examinations is not automatic and it is subject to analysis by the Academic Services. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address indicated in the form regarding the status of your registration and other necessary details, specifically the deadline for payment of the registration fee listed in your current account.”
